I just saw this video. I’m a year late but I have been searching RU-vid for instructions on making a dress form and out of all that I have seen, this one is THE BEST hands down!
Mine is almost completed. I had a lot of trouble gluing it together leaving a few small gaps due to thickness of foam and arthritis in my hands. These gaps added about an inch to circumference. Is there a way to reduce the size? I could just call this 'ease' and make garments accordingly I guess. Maybe the cover will bring it in a bit too. This has helped me see my fitting issues and understand how to make corrections. Thank you for showing this series.
Thanks so much for ages now I’ve been looking into making my own dress form and it was gonna be a project and a half as my hips are 70inches my question is how would you advise to make it hang from the roof at my height
I am also curious whether you went back and filled the dress form. (Since you mentioned you would fill it from the neck hole.) Also curious if you’ve though about mounting it on a stand of some kind to get the right height. Great video! Very informative and detailed.
