Love this! I had been thinking of starting to exercise this way but Endless Pools are so expensive! I saw the use of a tether in a regular pool and then saw your video. What an economical set up! Thanks for sharing where you got it the pool and tether from from and how much they cost. And great idea for keeping the garage dry! I had thought about setting something like this up in my garage and it didn't even occur to me that I would need plastic like you guys set up to keep things dry in there.

Iv'e been thinking of doing this for about 2 years now in the garden- don't want the expense of heating/treating a huge pool, but want to swim at home as - my friends laughed at me - definately going to do this next year thank ladies -it works!!

Great idea, differently saving this. These pools are pretty cheap in the UK so it be easier and way cheaper to set up something similar to this compared to what a endless pool cost, thousands.

Wow! I thought the playback speed was at 2x , then I went to adjust it and realized they actually talk that fast. If you set it to 0.75x it is about right.

I have daughters with this crazy amount of energy. I don’t know where they got it, my husband says they sucked all of ours out and now they have double. That's pretty close to an ipool but way cheaper. Ipool is a lot deeper though. Looks fun!

I just did the same thing, but my pool is a round 10' Quick Set/Easy Set pool that is only 24" deep .So I imagine that your rectangular pool is about the same depth not shallower? Colleen, how is that small pool perfectly deep, as your daughter Kenzie said? How can she do a backstroke in her pool and I can't do one in mine if that is so!? I can do a squeezed in profile breastroke and dolphin kick, though. But then again, there are small 7' x 10 or 12' foot iPools made specifically for all tethered swimming exercises and deep enough for freestyle but they are back-ordered until late August. By that time, summer will be almost over, not that it matters much to me being that I live in South Florida. However, there are similar pools like the Swim Gymm out on the market. But I don't know if those too are backordered? Have you considered that, given they are specifically designed for the kind of swimming exercises your daughter or I or these competitive simmers are doing, unlike the small Intex, BestWay, or similar pools?

if you want an easer water barrier buy some of those covid plastic liners that the employees use at the pharmacy and line it up on the inside of the pool so the water stays in with a hole for the tether :)

Whatever works for ya but if you ever decide to put the pool in the yard im sure your husband can stake a pole in the yard with a hook and chain and have the same set up. Dad could get his garage back then.
