DIY - EZ Angle ATV Snow Plow - Never Leave Your Seat Again 

Thanks Jay, I appreciate you watching. Sorry, but I no longer have the plow since I bought a tractor. This video is from a few years ago before I started RU-vid and decided to publish it to possibly give folks some ideas that it could be done. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thank You....It really did work very well for such a simple design. My neighbor is still using it. I thought about doing something like you suggested, but there is no real way to make a universal design with all the variances of plows and ATVs. The other factor is if the blade trips it could whip the handle back at you. Thanks for watching!

Definitely a concern. When I had this plow, I tightened the springs and knew that nothing on my driveway would cause it to trip.

Wrap it in gorilla tape .I never had a atv low ever trip usually u get it to trip if the sprigs are set weak or going to fast .

Thanks Nick! Sorry I now longer have that plow. I sold it when I bought a tractor. The Moose Plow had a spring pin that released when pulled towards the blade. I just tied it around the pin. I had two pulleys. One on the cross member were the handle attached to the springs and one at the frame in front of pin. May not work for all plows, but with pulleys you can change direction of pull to release the pin. I had shot this video a few years ago well before I started uploading videos, but thought it would be good for people to see. I can tell you for sure that this set up was a game changer.

and yes it was PVC wrapped in black gorilla tape for added strength and keep it from shattering if I tripped the blade.

Yeah it came out really nice, you did a great job on that. I have a KFI plow blade, my pin is a hand held. I have to pull straight up on it, turn blade where I want and let go of pin that is spring loaded, and then it snaps into place

@@nickpanhead7209 sounds like it could be done since it's spring loaded. Maybe a bracket with pulley near pin to pull straight up?

Plowing with ATV is fun and can go fast slinging snow farther out. Struggles with wet heavy snow and will need to plow multiple times so that you don't let it accumulate too much. ATV does not do well back dragging and it's not fun shifting from forward and reverse.

Hi Gary, the handle was made using 1.5" PVC pipe and fittings attached to plow using the eye bolts for the springs. A pull cord / handle was fed through the two cross members and down to plow through two sets of pulleys attaching to locking pin on plow. Thanks for watching and subscribing!

Pause the video a d look it's not that hard to do .he's using the u bolts off of the plow .if u are worried stick a piece of metal inside heat the end of the pvc like a sandwich and be done

@@why-be-normal7014 Yes, I used a metal spacer at the end of the pipe where the eye bolt attaches to the plow so I could tighten without squashing the pipe.
