A quick tip that I have learned is if you cut slits in the sides of the decal (especially for the scales) it helps when you apply. The decal isn't so stiff. Great video and very helpful!!

You could always cut slits in between the scales as you go down To make it faster and easier when you’re laying it on the tumbler ❤️ Ty for sharing with us!!

Howdy! I wish I had watched your video BEFORE I decided to put decals directly onto the paint. I was debating and your videos would have tipped the scales to put on the decals after a first coat of epoxy. I had gone to far and didn't want to redo the decals so I made it work. I did get a couple raised edges, but nothing a little sandpaper and a finish coat can't handle. Thanks!

When you are laying the vinyl ove the curve, if you will snip your transfer tape on either side,it will help it lay flat and go onto the cup easier. 😊. Great cup

The paint didn’t give the scale effect in the middle of the cup when I tried it. I done it a couple of times and loosened the fish net but it still just looks like paint where the cup changes sizes. Any idea how I can correct this?

I tried this but it looked like the paint ran. What do you do to prep your tumbler?

I lightly sand and wash the outside. If the paint ran hold the can of spray paint a little further away from the cup so it doesn’t land too heavily on the tumbler or soak the fishnets.

They only don't notice the flaws if they're not inspectors! Lol! My husband is a quality assurance inspector and he inspects everything! He would notice! I have to constantly tell him when I show him my cups during the making process not to inspect, just tell me how it looks! He drives me crazy sometimes! Lol!
