My first DIY is live! I hope you guys like, enjoy and hopefully try it out for yourself this holiday season!
To see photos of my full look up on my blog visit: www.pkidchicks.com/home/glitzy.... Side note to seal your shoes well be sure to add 2 coats of acrylic sealer so the glitter won't fall off. Do this 24 after the mod podge has dried. Happy crafting!

What you'll need:
- a pair of heels and or belt
- glitter
- scotch painters tape
- scissors
- paint brush
- mod podge
- paper towels
- aluminum foil
- hair spray or mod podge acrylic sealer

Your shoes came out just beautiful and I love the color. My niece is getting married in Sept and she wants me to do "something" with her shoes. I am going to glitter them in a white and then put a small lace decoration on the top (towards the toe) like I did with my own wedding shoes. IT should come out just beautiful and she will be happy. Thank you for your tutorial. THUMBS UP!

I love this idea. I have a few pairs of heels that my models wear when I use them to model for my artwork. I have dome some Louboutin HoT Red Bottoms and I might do a glitter top and Louboutin bottom. Thanks again

Painters tape. Scotch tape is clear. Great job. My mom did this in the sixties she had two pairs of shoes people thought she had hundreds.

I loved your video the most. You are so neat and detail oriented. I was asked by my mom to please fix her boots that are peeling. I hope this works the peeling from happening and the mod podge will help glue the lifted layer stick back down. Or do you think I should peel it off completely? Have your shoes cracked? I heard a video for sassy shoes or sassy feet....that if you use mod podge the shoe will eventually Crack. Your shoes look like high end shoes because you took your time to tape the bottom black edge. Thank you for sharing.

Are her boots glitter? My shoes have not cracked however I didn’t seal mine enough and lost some glitter but it’s an easy fix. Just add more mod podge and glitter in those empty spots. I still have my glitter shoes after all this time and love them!

My heels are a shiny finish they're not matte or a matte fabric like suede or like yours will the glue still work well to adhere the glitter to my shiny heels? Also will this glue work for any type of shoe or heels? Thank you by the way amazing job!!! 😍

Yes it will still adhere to shiny finish fabrics like plastic or faux suede shoes.

Holiness spray it with hair spray or mod podge spray after they glitter has dried. With a second coat after the first has dried for a few hours. Good luck! 😊

Please can it be washed or cleaned when dirty? How leliable is Mod podge to water?

Daddy Ify tbh I’m not sure. I haven’t had to clean my shoes. Mod podge is a strong adhesive though. It usually is water resistant but if you don’t seal your glitter well then you’ll lose glitter.

I put two layers and seal it with mod podge spray or hair spray but the mod podge spray works best.

I have, not the best in my opinion. I used a bit of mud podge. Hair spray Will not last very Long, and the glitter Will go every were.

Ally Hvis I think the mod podge spray would work best or some good hair spray! The cheaper brands won’t work as well 😅

I did this with Mod Podge a while back with some pink glitter however I didn't know they had a sealant spray for it thank you so much for sharing... the Mod Podge does make the glitter get dull if you cover it again so this is a great way to keep the shine on the glitter with the sealant..I didnt know about the sealant because at the time I purchased the mod podge it wasn't in the aisle or should I say not in front where I could easily spot it lol..but this is great ..I'm definitely trying this again hoping that the sealant does its job to avoid the glitter mess on the floor lol..

Casil gold I've seen bottles of glitter at Wal-Mart and you can pick up mod podge at hobby lobby, michaels, or your local craft store. Hope this helps. Happy crafting 😉

Got all my stuff at Hobby Lobby but Dollar tree sells little mod podge glue bottles.
