A quick and easy to follow guide on creating your own custom paint job on your airsoft guns. This tutorial shows you how you can create a paint job of your choice with supplies found at your local hardware store.
I can honestly say. I use to paint automobiles prior to my injury. It looks so much easier to prep and paint a gun. Very nice job sir. I’m sure that took a lot of patience. Very nice indeed. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful! As a paintballer who plays Magfed, I tried doing a multicam arid type paint job on my TMC, however it didn't work out too well. So I thought about doing this, but with a base layer of FDE, putting tiger stripe stencils on it, and then going a dust of brown about it (I don't own an airgun unfortunately).
I have been looking at hundreds of paint your guns videos as I am considering painting one of mine, and I have to say that I like yours the best, TYVM, I just need to get an airbrush as that "effect" is awesome. Can't wait to try it. TYVM!
I did something similar with Vallejo paints since they are intended for military models. I got a nice Splitter pattern, which was a close match to the jacket I normally wear when I'm out in the bush.
i could use some tips about, how to make like a green gun, with the best camouflage, there still some hard lines on this gun, wich i like. But i like someting to blend in some bushes. like , any bushes
I know this is an older video but man I sure love it! I’m going to give it a try on a couple matching ar’s I like your color choices can you tell me the names of the colors please. ? Thanks!
That looks so good, I don't have an airbrush and am thinking about spray painting on the tape to let the over spray create the same effect. Have you ever tried this?
Yes any automotive/truck bed paint or grill paint are all rated for higher heats and are tough as nails. I use the black truck bed liner spray paint on old rifle barrels that’s won’t let you use super blue
i just want to say that it looks awesome, just from the first photo of the video. One observation, you kinda hold the spray to close to the gun in my opinion and that make the paind bleed and it can be seen in the result, but damn still looks good
Nice job, absolutely stealing the idea of using Electrical-Tape Vs. Painters-Tape. Did you sand or wash the blaster first to remove leftover anti-moulding agent?
Yes, electric tape keeps its shape and is easier to cut than painters tape in my opinion. If you find painters tape works better for you though then go for it! 🙂
Hi, I’m thinking about painting my ak47. The problem is it’s a complicated paint job and it’s my first time. I’m not sure if you have heard of the game rainbow six siege but i want to paint my gun the black ice camo from that gun. Any tips on how to make it look nice and similar to the game?
Sorry for the late reply, but I don’t think that particular Camo is going to be doable without hydro dipping. I would definitely recommend looking into it!
RadioSilence just use of instead of the darker brown and a lighter green instead of the tan. That will give you a green tiger stripe. Practice on a old springer or something if in doubt.
Miguelito Not necessarily. While disassembling the weapon will definitely prevent any paint getting in to the moving parts, it’s equally as easy to just plug the holes or mask areas off. No sanding or anything required. Paint isn’t technically permanent and with a simple paint job like this it’s important to remember it will most definitely show signs of wear quite easily
This looks cool and u may be wrong but I just think that painting like this could jam things up and make it kinda sketchy if not unsafe to shoot but explain if I’m wrong 😁👍
Nice paint job! FYI If you paint your suppressor when you fire your weapon it will cook the paint on it leaving a smell for you to be detected. Happy hunting friends!
Looks great, now if I only had an air brush 😢 One thing I would suggest is to plug your barrel/cover your crown. When I painted my .22LR it took about 30 shots for it to hit accurately again until the paint was all worn off around the crown.
I’d suggest removing the inner barrel and plugging the outer barrel with toilet paper - same deal with the magwell, the space between the trigger/receiver, and the motor plate if applicable.
Harrys Sidiropoulos just some regular spray paint I found at a DIY store and some clear coat to protect it. It will still fade over time though but if you like the battle worn look then it’s a cheap way to go!
@@RadioSilence I used some acrylic and got some trouble with colors blending.. I let it try 24 hours after every coat.. At the end I made it.. I made a post apocalyptic battle worn M4.
