Amazing work! I have 2 questions, 1. How to make it scratch resistant? 2. What primer you use? Thanks again, I'm just starting and have a lot of questions:)
Thank you. There is no such thing as scratch resistant. Some coatings hold up better than others, but all can be scratched. Our demonstrations typically use DuraCoat or Cerakote so their is no primer.
Thank you for the support. Those words were more used as descriptors of the color rather than actual product names. We have a very hard time finding specific names as there are so many different popular coating and paint products available today.
Durability comes form good prep work. Clear coating is not stronger. It is simply pigment-less coating. It's mostly utilized to create layers for sanding out orange peel and buffing to shine without affecting the colored coating. For applications such as this video, it isn't warranted.
Hello and thanks for asking. This can be achieved with our M85 Stencils. The main difference in the two patterns is the tan color is replaced with a green color. ERDL is enlarged a little, and the repeat is different, but neither of these changes would be noticeable when patterned to a rifle. We will add this to our list for video tutorials!!!
