Could have used the existing engine's gearbox. U could get more starting torque and less load on electric motor so low consumption of battery. Otherwise it's excellent.

This is what I've been thinking because doing like a little motorcycle why wouldn't you want to use like the rickshaw bldc motor because of the lower torque and you can always.. change the gearing to get higher speed but you always still have the torque. Because I am a heavy guy 360 lb big fat dude capable of building from scratch like you I love people that make their own bikes motorcycles and the other ideas. And just like the saying necessity is the mother of invention people like Us other ones that make the world a better place. Would love to pick your brain about the motor and battery setup I should use.
