Can you make different sizes to buy? I am a cancer survivor but I burn chronically thru the day from retaining mri dye contrast called gadolinium. The chelator came off the dye and never left my body. It is so painful and now I am emf sensitive from it. I have a longer skinny one I got with no scent that I take out of freezer and use. Not sure what it is filled with. It doesn’t stay cold for very long. Seems like there are beans in it. Do you have an Etsy store?. I am disabled from this chronic skin burning and would love something larger and maybe several. Thank you for the consideration.
Purchased this today, cant wait til the cotton muslin dries to get started. Question, do you use cotton thread when sewing, specially when using the item in the microwave? Thanks :)
I just use my general purpose thread which has a little polyester in it, but not to worry it won't be an issue. Cotton thread may shrink and pop. I never really use all cotton thread.
This particular bag, I don't wash. You can always make a slipcover for it similar to my eye pillow cover. You can view that tutorial here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o3oR4yrJ__4.html

I'm not sure about lentils and I wouldn't recommend filling the bas with menthol crystals. If you want that scent, I would apply menthol essential oils on the outside of the bag. You can also use feed corn, that's what I recommend in the video. Flax seeds, wheat and buckwheat are some other good things to fill the bag.
@@JanHowell thank you so much! My mom asked for something like this for Christmas. We were in a store and saw a sock filled with walnut shells that you could heat up. I thought I would make her something like that for Christmas and you are tutorial was very helpful. I have not heard of people using feed corn before, but it makes sense that that would work nicely. I have heard othersexpressed concern about rice because of bugs. So I appreciate your experience with the feed corn!

Hi, when you put these in the microwave for 2 mins won’t it cook the corn and make it popcorn? I’ve only used wheat bags but like the idea these stay warm for longer. Thanks
