Hey Gang. We’re excited to finally show the Washington Remodel we did last April. Having 8 days, limited tools and working 10+ hours, made it for a pretty special experience to say the least. Filming and making the videos got harder and harder each day, so we hope we made it at least enjoyable to watch in post. Thanks for watching, thanks for all the support, thanks for 200k and we’ll see ya in part 4!

For those of us who didn't have a dad to teach us this stuff, thank you for sharing yours, Jordan! And thank you, Paul, for being you!

The Father Son dynamic is perfect. You guys make a great team. @ 12:54, it reminds me of a tip my Dad gave me as I got older. "To prevent injury to your back or knees, always make a sound when you get up" Works almost every time!

Love the videos. You should do one showing what mom and the girls are doing behind the scenes, we hear about them but never see what they are doing. I think it would be an inspiration to all of your women subscribers.

Really loved the compare and contrast between Jordan's tile job and dad's. Noting what you did and talking about how you could improve based on watching dad's and his expertise is one of those elements that elevates these videos from "fun to watch" to a degree of educational that's really hard to quantify except to say, extremely valuable. Thank so much!

Tip: put your grout in a ziplock and cut the corner. Pipe it into all the groves them come back with your tool to push it into the groove. Way better than buttering the whole face of the tile and cleaning it up after.

Hey guys. Looks like the rental is coming along great! At my paint shop here in Montana we use a tool called the Super Stacker to paint doors. They allow you to paint both sides of a door on saw horses and stack the doors while they dry. Y’all should check ‘‘em out!! My business partner owns them, hit me up if you want to get ahold of him directly, or to see some pictures/video of them being used. StudPack all the way!!

Jordan, I'm proud of you mate. Your first tile job ... and according to the resident expert, a passing grade. I enjoyed seeing you doing some of the projects and experiencing the issues most of us have when we try to "replicate the expert." Also, one of your best videos. When you have an expert complete a job, they often gloss over the details because it is second nature to them. You kept stopping your Dad and asked him to explain or elaborate. That is where the subtleties are pulled from your Dad.

Your videos are awesome. I love teamwork! It's fabulous to see father & son (and future son-in-law) working together so well. I often do projects with my sons and we get so much done. My secret: have 3 sub-projects at the site going all at the same time. When I need supplies for sub-project #1, I move to sub-project #2 while my wife runs for supplies, etc. That way, I keep busy the whole day and don't spend my productive time driving to/shopping at Home Depot. My wife loves the break as well.

Well done considering the absenteeism of your own tools. Like any of the tools used? Get ‘em when you get home. Suggestion: carry the large format tiles on edge durning transportation, not as apt to crack over laying flat. Ask me how I know!! 🤬 I would of loved to be able to help out. 😥

I have one small bathroom like that (yes only 1 bath grrrr...) It's about 5' x 6', the flooring has ~ 3" maybe 4" tiles that are laid in a 45 degree "diamond" pattern in the center with a perimeter around the outside... built in 1951 these are original to the house and are cracked and well I have issues as I can see 2 major crack lines on each side, so I think the floor has settled to cause stress to the tiles... I know I need to address this floor, some point soon! The problem I've had is finding new tiles that I could replace the flooring. Initially my thought is to lay a new floor using the same sized tiles and give it the same look, I wanted to switch from a pink tile to a blue tile, but a lot of the tiles made today are not the small tiles, the colors are "What the heck!?" darker and have grey, or what they call blue looks more like green... I have ordered samples from several sources and visited showrooms. So far I'm not impressed or satisfied... Also I wondered if I should go a different route with the larger format tiles... but I think the big tiles in a small bathroom would just look odd, I hope to see the finished look of the bathrooms in your video after the room was put back together to see if I liked it or not... That all said, what is your opinion? P.S. I think somebody over grouted the darned like button... They needed a putty knife or margin trowel, but I managed to press it anyway. I really like your channel and information.
