I just stumbled across this video now, great video and very informative! I'm hoping to make my own Gaultier 2 as it's been discontinued. It has 3 notes...vanilla, amber and musk. Do I still need a carrier based oil, like the almond oil that was used in this video?

Instead of using almond oil you can use fractioned coconut oil it doesn’t have a scent and it is clear and way better for you xx love you

Super great gift! I might make this one for my best friend and my mom, because they both love scents. On my wishlist is a jewelry box, because I got this amazing jewelry advent calendar this year. But I think I already spotted something under the tree, so we'll just have to wait and see ;)

Awesome idea! Just be careful using bergamot and orange in a moisturizer, because they are photosensitive and can cause burns. I imagine there's very little in this blend, but people should be aware not to allow the skin to be exposed to the sun when wearing citrus oils.
