Hello hello hello!
Another Thursday, another video :) I'm trying out a new series, all on DIY creative and artsy stuff. I've always wanted to do more diy things, such as making perfume, candles, makeup etc. so I thought I'd also document the process with you all. I started off extremely easy with this roll-on perfume, which requires just 4 simple ingredients. It's literally buy the ingredients and mix them together in the scents you enjoy! But I also do offer some science behind the combinations, so watch on to find out about that :)

if i make my own perfume these are the notes: top notes: saffron, coconut and pomegranate middle notes: freesia, centifolia rose, peach skin and jasmine base notes: vanilla, cashmere musk and cedarwood ill name it “Trauma” lol

I do this with roses! Place a smaller empty pot inside another pot filled with the water & flowers. Cover with an upside down lid. The steam will collect on the lid then drip down into the small pot.

I have a way I learned at school today, So u need and extract ( any type, like lavender, Jasmin, mint any )and then you have to add olive oil or almond oil. (DO NOT USE IF ALLERGIC). Then add water and extract and shake. Then you can use as a perfume

Much to say about this but I will say a better oil to use would be something like fractionated coconut oil since jojoba or almond have some nutty undertones in them :)

I’m thinking of making my own perfume because i have a sensitive nose: For my top notes I’m using: blackberry and eucalyptus For my middle note I’m using: Cherry, Strawberry For my base note I’m using Peach. That or ill just make cherry strawberry scent

You just need to drop them in the bottle and add your oil, give it a shake and you’re good to go :)

The way it works is this each scents has there own base qualities it means that if you use only one top base scents the perfume would practically not last long but if u mix both top and mid base it will last a lil longer but if you mix 3 bases of scents then it lasts as long as a month that’s the summary

I tried to make my own perfume. But the oil didn't mix in with ethyl alcohol. You can see that oil & alcohol are separate. Please help.

Yes, you can, but if you are acne prone... you shouldn't use it. Avacado produces more sebum, its good for people with dry skin, but not for oily skin
