WHAT A COOL IDEA!!!! I want to paint big sheets of cardboard, to use as "Sheetrock" , to insulate my metal storage building, but this idea of painting to look like paneling is a simple and super! Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for showing us how to make cardboard look like wood. I'm making a Book Nook at the moment, and I want it to look like an old Victorian library on the inside, so I bought a laser cut plywood bookcase that I glued together, but it looked too flimsy for a Victorian bookcase. I bulked it up by adding a couple of layers of foam board to the top and one layer to the base, and then I cut another piece to go on the back, because it didn't have a back to it, and it needed one. The reason why I'm telling you all this is because I need to make the bookcase look like it's made of hard wood, like mahogany or oak. Can I use your method here to paint my bookcase even though it's not made of cardboard. I've already painted it brown which just makes it look as if it's been painted with brown paint 😅!!
