DIY- Kid Kraft Cedar Summit Hilltop Playset from Costco Build

Welcome back to the channel! In this video we built a playset in the backyard from Cedar Summit- Kid Craft. The playset is called Hilltop and we bought it at Costco for around $1100. Believe it or not, we were able to fit the entire playset in our minivan. This was a two day build. A drill and driver are a must. Make sure those batteries are charged! After watching the kids play on it, it was so worth it! Thanks for watching.

We're waiting for it to come back in stock, it was supposed to come in Feb 28th, it's on backorder as of Easter 2021.

Is it possible to trim the beam to only hold one swing, for space-saving purposes?

How deep did you go with the mulch bed? I am about to excavate my backyard for the same set up

How far off the fence is the leg of the swing? And would it have been moved back at all and it still be safe?

The legs are at least 5ft from the fence on the side. The center beam is in the middle with at least 10 ft from the fence in the back. Hope that helps. I have had no issues with the kids being close to the fence. Thank you for watching.

Great job, did you remove the grass?

No, laid heavy weed barrier on top of the grass. Used paving edging and laid around 3 inches of mulch ontop. If you watch some of my latest lawn videos, you will see it turned out great. No grass break through. Thanks for watching.

I know this is an older video. Does the manual by chance have the dimensions of the packaging? I’m having a hard time picturing this fitting in a mini van 😂
