I just can’t understand the hatefulness of people on social media. You are the 3rd digital creator that I watch who has painted their countertops and the end result is 100 times better than the beginning product. Who cares if the veining is not perfect???? People do get butt hurt over something they had no part of, they don’t have to clean it and they certainly aren’t paying for it. You did a fabulous job!!!!

It's so stupid how critical and smart mouth some people can be over something that has nothing to do with them, they didn't pay for nor do they live under the roof of the person they are criticizing in the first place. I admire you guys for taking on that project, and it turned out looking great!!

Hi kilee. Your countertops look great to me. I accidently found you video, but I've been watching a group called Epoxycountertops and use alcohol and blow torches that's way cute stuff. I only have a cheap laminate And real short L shape countertop but i think I could do it. Thanks for sharing

I think these turned out great! I wish I had your level of confidence when it came to things like this! I too am an overthinker. I absolutely hate my countertops and would possibly look into doing this too, if they weren't large granite tiles. Who puts grout on a kitchen counter?! It's beyond unsanitary, in my opinion. To make things worse, the previous owners were so hard on everything and there are chips of granite and grout missing in areas. The installers also didn't set them level in areas. It's a nightmare. They always feel filthy too. I can't wait for the day they are finally replaced.

I don't understand why people feel they have to be so mean! I just did this same thing to my countertops and I understand the struggle of trying the marble part. Like you it took me several attempts to get it right. It's hard to do. I think it's looks great. The ones that run their mouths are the ones that hide behind a computer.

Amazing job!! What if a hot pot is placed on the countertop without a coaster will it affect the pain ?

It’s similar to any kind of inexpensive countertop (laminate, butcher block etc). You cannot set hot pans directly on it or it will burn. I haven’t had any issue though. I just don’t cut or set things directly on it
