very nice but one thing is that the punch nut should be in the opposite side of the screw. if you put it on the same side the punch nut will end up loosening up. U can make a counterbore on one side and put the punch nut there and screw from the opposite side.

Верно. Сам на этом убедился. Только что собрал распиловочный стол на ручной циркулярке. Сделал самодельные барашки на этих гайках без всяких кондукторов. Просто треугольники и закрутил. После пробных резов (8-10) смотрю, а два из трех креплений вышли на треть. Буду переворачивать.
hi, great video thx. Question: should the threaded insert be opposite of where you placed them? Seems to me that as you tighten the knob you want the prongs on the insert to push into the wood (hope that makes sense)
You are absolutely right. But as you can see at 08:45 I made a little short threaded rod and twisted it as you said it does not work. Anyway, thanks for the advice, I think my viewers might find it useful.

Здравствуйте. Вопрос по чертежам. У Вас указано, что большое отверстие диаметром 72мм. Насколько это принципиально? Так как ни кольцевых, ни коронок такого диаметра найти не могу. Только 74мм или 69мм
@@MazayDIY Here's a nice simple trick: Just barely start drilling the hole saw as a reference, then switch to a Forstner and drill just into either side to the hole saw kerf (depending on whether you want to save the plug or the outside piece). This allows for sawdust removal and keeps heat to a minimum. You performed a version of this when you cut the knob housing after the two overlapping cutouts.
your method of making knob need expensive tools.Provide more simple method using manual tools so that it can be effort by everyone interested in carpentry.
I respectfully disagree with your idea that you need expensive tools. Another You Tube channel that I really love is 3 x 3 Custom by Tamara. Her philosophy is that there is always more than one way to accomplish a task in woodworking. It may take a handmade jig, but it can be done. For example if you see this video, he used a drill press that he made himself, and did not need or use an expensive drill press. Another option would be to use an inexpensive drill guide. It may take longer, but it would work. Also If you don't want to invest in a table saw, there are a ton of videos on how to create a circular saw guide that can be really inexpensive for cutting your wood to size. Two excellent jigs are on the channels DIYforknuckleheads, and Allflavors workshops. It can be done.
Зачем тут 2 полости для сверловки, когда достаточно одной ибо мы кондуктор жёстко крепим к станине/столу и не вращаем? Чтобы что? Посильнее устать, делая то что не нужно?
Конечно для этого, а зачем еще мастерская еще? ))) На самом деле, расстояния от оси разные, чтобы можно было изготавливать барашки разной формы - для шестилучевой необходимо расстояние побольше, а для 3-хлучевой лучше меньше, чтобы хват был лучше
@@MazayDIY Об этом где-то в видео сказано? По сравнению с центральным кругом в 75 мм, отступ от центра в 3-4 мм выглядит как погрешность. Ну и у вас канал чтобы фокусы показывать или объяснить как можно что-то сделать без умалчиваний и загадок?
Из бумажки или картона по большой коронке кружок вырезал, точки на нём поставил где пёркой сверлить. Приложил- обвёл -точки поставил-просверлил фрезой маленькие отверстия-просверлил в центре-просверлил большой коронкой..Готово. Нагородил хз чё.....
