Just thought I should mention that you should only use dry ice in a well ventilated area, as it's co2 and when it evaporates and it's percentage in the air gets to about 10 percent you will pass out and suffocate

Nice! Love the tip. As for the smoke alarms, you can turn them off at your circuit breaker. Just make sure to turn them back on after filming.

Should probably mention fog and haze aren’t the same thing, at least in the concert industry. Haze is usually oil based and is activated by a compressor while fog is usually water based and activated by a heater.
