Hi everyone I am truly excited today of starting my RU-vid channel.
So today I’m going to make a DIY Dollhouse like a Miniature Library.
Creating the floor
First, I cut the foam board and popsicle sticks to create a wooden floor. Cut the popsicle sticks into small pieces to get a nice realistic look, and then I used white glue to glue them into the base. After creating the floor for painting I used acrylic paint to color the floor to get a nice wooden feeling to it.
Creating the windows and walls
Same as before cut the foam board as shown in the video also the area of windows going to be. And I used balsa wood to create the window frames and painting have done using nice yellow acrylic paint also on the walls I used off-white acrylic paint to get the nice miniature dollhouse touch. After completion of the wall and the floor using white glue, I paste them together as shown in the video.
Creating Miniature bookshelves
I used balsa wood to create the miniature bookshelf, I cut them into scale as shown in the video. After cutting the balsa wood I used superglue to glue the sections of the bookshelf
After fixing the bookshelf I used off-white acrylic paint to color the surface of the shelf and the drawers.
Miniature books
A library needs books right? I created a small artwork using Adobe Illustrator and took a digital printout and cut the print into small pieces folds them nicely and using super glue I created the miniature books.
Miniature table, Chair, sofa
Same as before I used balsa wood to cut all the templates of the miniature furniture used super glue to fix them together also off-white acrylic paint. Purple cloth for the sofa seats.
