Totally, I actually went off the size you said you make your doors. The first pieces of foam I cut out were way to big... it would have been like two feet long! 😂 I'm happy with the size it ended up. Thanks for checking it out!
An excellent collectible product that cannot be bought for money. I liked it very much. I congratulate you. You are a man who loves his job and does it well.
Thanks for helping on one of my favorite shows ever! This show is one of the main reasons my daughter is at Art Center and wants to get into character design! 🙏🙏🙏
I used to love the show when it aired and still do, you did an amazing job in recreating the most iconic building from it! Everytime I watch this video I'm amazed 👏
Wow! Incredible build! All the details and different techniques you used to create those fun imperfections are fantastic. I hadn’t watched Gravity Falls until I watched your video. 8 episodes in already and love it 😊
Oh man, that turned out great. I love Gravity Falls! (I’ve done small shingles on a doll house for my daughter using shims. Labor intensive to say the least. I loved watching you figure it out how to make the different stuff work.
I have done some very similar with the house from the Disney film Up. Very informative and I presume alot quicker than mine. I'm on the second iteration and have spent months working on it here n then. Great video n love ya channel.
Turned out really good 👍 it took me over a month to scratch build a weather beaten church with steeple, windows , lights, popsicle stick siding (hand textured and cut) with a craft foam shingle roof . I was DONE with buildings after I finished! I feel your pain but the results you and I had made it worth it. Congrats 👏
cool crafts you make, found your channel, 'cause of Andy Mecha! Gravity Falls was an amazing animation, with great storytelling and animation style and the mystery shack you crafted is spot on, mate! plus love the drawings you did 1st
That's the plan! But it may be a while because I have so many projects right now. But I want to put LED's in on the inside and like you said do a diorama with the totem pole, flags, parking lot and the whole nine yards! 😃Thanks for watching!
I'm pleased at how it turned out but even better is when my 17 year old daughter (who doesn't most of what I make, LOL) asked if she could display it in her room... thats a huge win for me!!! 😂😃
@@DRToysCreations ahh thats cool, my little boy who is 8 wants all my models but rather than display them I think he would trash them lol. Cant wait to see what you make next =)
Hello! Congratulations on the end result! It's been great! I would like to ask you if you could provide me with the general measurements and the basic drawings of letters etc. Thanks in advance.
Do you have Adobe Illustrator? I have the text and signs layed out in that if not I could always just send you a PDF. I can get some rough measurements on the building but I kinda just made what looked right to me. I started out trying to get perfect measurements and realized pretty quick I'm not that smart...😂 Shoot me an email @ drtoys@yakstub.com and I will pull some stuff together.
Actually just got back from Designer Con and it was the first time I have sold any of my toys in any serious kind of way. So to answer your question, yes. 😀
@@DRToysCreations I think you could do it! In one of your old videos you mentioned how you turned a frozen doll into a android, could you revisit that in a new video? Very interested!
I have my Illustrator file for some of the parts like the Pitt machine some of the doors and windows but most of it i just eyeballed and made it. I don't know exactly how to put a link to it on youtube but if you want to message me on Instagram and send me your email I can email ya what I have... dr._toys
Thanks... when I made this video it was actually my first time using it. Sorry it bothered you that much. I use it quite a bit now and definitely know the name. 😅
So I started out trying to do all the measurements and realized quickly my brain hurt when I tried to do all of that... 😂 I could give you some measurements of the finished product if that would help.
Do you mean the hatch on the giftshop roof? It's there and I also have on the back side of the roof where Dipper Mabel and Wendy hang out. Did I miss one? 😬 It's funny the Mystery Shack changes from episode to episode so it's hard to keep it consistent... 😂
I started out trying to create precise measurements but I quickly realized I had no clue what I was doing so just eyeballed and guessed at most of the measurements... 😂
where can I find the approximate dimensions of your work? for example, the length and thickness of walls, roofs, etc. your work is really cool! i love it so much 😭😭😭
👨🏽🎨 we used to watch Gravity Falls untill i realized it was satanic 🤪🥺 I had to stop watching it with my kids. The tune is really catchy tho😬 The piece you made came out great 👍🏽
