Anyone who does oil changes should have one. It's used mostly on car oil filters. Even then not that much, but it comes in handy. Also have a fuck you mini sledge and a fuck you leverage pipe.
Kawasaki SAE 10-W30 4-Cycle Engine Oil Synthetic Blend. I have step by step instructions on my site. cullinsservice.com/diy/wright/stander-i/36in/oil-change/
Your chain oil filter remover is not the method of last resort. That's reserved for the largest screwdrivers you own. I use a Phillips, but any huge one will do. Drive it through the filter to the other side and apply force. If you can get a pipe extender on it, that will work better. If the filter starts to move but is still impossible to turn by hand, drive the screwdriver (see how the name sort of perfectly describes what your doing with it?) through in another location and rotate again. I've had to do this 4 or 5 times to finally get the filter to loosen enough to rotate by hand, although at this point there are lots of small sharp projections, so USE GLOVES!!!! It's messy, but effective when some nitwit decided it was a good idea to use a filter wrench to install the filter instead of just hand tight, like every manual on the planet describes.
