This DIY Outdoor Movie Theatre uses a small projector and a GoalZero solar powered generator to power it and the laptop.

We built the projection screen out of a 3 foot by 5 foot piece of concrete backboard using 2x4s for supports. we got all the materials from Home Depot.

It's not a generator, it's a rechargeable battery with an AC power inverter to make AC power.

"sorry mike" lmaoo. I'd say "No Country for Old Men" would be the scariest to watch in the middle of the desert. alternatively. i recommend "Raiders of the Lost Ark" obviously, or "Midnight Special". those are great for that scenery.

What a fantastic project! You always amaze me with what you'll bring next. I love what you do. Oh, and my family used to live in Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms. dont worry to much about the rattlers that love to come out at night. Just keep an eye out.

Great project! I like this, though I personally would prefer something more collapsible. My movie suggestion is Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Its an Edgar Wright film, and is as fantastic as any of his movies.

You could probably use pegs on soft ground or sand bags. If it’s windy enough to blow over, you probably aren’t sitting outside.

Solar power for a proyector is kind of pointless. Solar cell needs light to work, proyector needs darkness to work properly.

its both plus an inverter. it came in a kit with a solar panel to charge it. it can also be plugged into a typical wall socket to charge. a typical generator doesn't create power it just transforms it from petrol to electricity. this one provides storage the solar panel and inverts it.

Wow! On a beautiful evening like that it would be a shame to glue your eyes to a screen instead of the sky. This is an interesting channel but sometimes it just screams, "This is pointless and we only made it because we have to please our sponsors!"
