Now that is to dang cute! Some thing an ole Auntie like me can rock in 2021. While being cool, covered and classy.. Without the sons and grandsons flipping out...lol thank you
ColorDivaPRDR for plus size, maybe you want to try a wider fabric? Or even an extra yard depending on how much is plus size. I'm 20/22 and I did it with the same amount of yardage that Teiraney uses.
Hello and thanks for all the wonderful tutorials... Can this be sewn down the side to make it a more fitted oversized tunic. If yes can you advise on how to make that happen? Thank you
Hey Teiraney j.... i made this dress this morning and it turned out perfect!!! I did however, have to widen the neck and arms cause I'm a plus size girl...If I wanted to make this an off the shoulder look would I just extend the neckline diagonally? Thanks for the feedback.
If I wanted to make this plus sized, how much more fabric should I use and do the measurements for cutting neck and arm holes stay the same? Btw, your tutorials are so easy to follow, love them!!!
hi.. I'm a small.. so would those arm holes work for me? well all the measurements? I love your tutorials by the way.. sending love all the way from the Bahamas!!
Yes... You'll need double the yardage and sew them together to make the width 120 and the length 120 inches. You'll have to trim the ends as they'll drag all over the floor, but that's how you make it a maxi.
Love it! One question though, I made mine and it's a little on the short side (I guess I'm taller than you). For next time should I move the arm holes a little closer (say 12inches instead of 15)??? Or what would you recommend to make this longer.
Yea I'm 5'3. To make it longer you'll need double the material. It will look like two bedsheets, so you'll need to trim, because it will drape really long. Sew them together and cut armholes and neck hole out.
You should get two pieces of fabric and sew together so its wider. You will have to trim the drapes or edges...they will sweep the floor, but it will be longer.
These are the dimensions of the triangle. The first measurement was the width of the triangle (3 inches) the other was the length of the triangle (2 inches) You need to mark both of them 2 inches down 3 inches across.
Hey do u mind making me one similar to yours. I want one to go over my praise Dance dress. I will pay you...i need it by this December...how can we contact each other
