I got mine at my local tack store :) if you are in Canada I have seen them a greenhawk before to. Or someplace like homedepot may have them. If all that fails I would order them online ☺️

Well in order to get the rope design showed in my video you do have to braid the same way. But you could experiment if you don't like the way it turned out for me :)

Casey Tolsma Yes that’s right, sorry it was confusing. So for example if you want the lead rope to be 10 ft then cut around 20.5 ft (Double the length you want, plus about half a foot because the braiding takes alway some of the length). Hope this helps! :)

popsey Each piece of cord is rated at 550 lbs. Times that by 8...that’s one strong lead rope that will be tough to break. If anything were to break, it would be the snap.

Imani_ the Equestrian for this type you must use the same strands I used. There may be a type of lead rope that only uses 3 strands but for this one you have to use more :)

if you only want 3 colours you can always have 4 strands of one colour rather than 2 :) (btw ik this is really late XD)

Imani_ the Equestrian this is so late lol... but you can use 3 strands and braid the strands but follow these directions when doing it!
