I know I’m really late to this, but thank you so much! My horse has a long neck, so most barrel reins aren’t long enough, and I don’t really want split reins either. I just finished making my new reins, and I love them!
what kind of melting thingy did u use to melt your paracord cause i make a whole bunch of reins and now my lighter has zero fluid in it😂😂whats the do-hickey u used i need one of them things!!
You will want to use rope clamps. Slide the rein through the swivel snap and clamp both sides of the rein together right below the swivel snap with the clamp
Parker DePond No I started of with around 9-10. You want to add a foot or two to the actual length you want the reins to be. For example if you want the reins 6 feet cut around 8 feet. :)
Anyone know where you can get trigger snaps used for lead ropes? Everywhere I look always has double sided ones but I'm looking for single ones? Please let me know if you know where to get them from!
Riley Lookabaugh Depending on how many strands you want in your reins make sure before you braid, that they are around 12 feet long. So if you want 9 strand para cord rein make sure you get enough to have 9 strands of 12 feet cord. Hope that made sense!😊
