Couldn’t you just drill a hole in the end cap and attach the ring light bottom piece to it then glue cap to top of pvc? That way you can do away with the pole and 3” piece at the bottom.

Hi thanks for watching. The foam I used was left over parts from a road case I purchased. You can but something similar on Amazon. Search for road case foam. The pip is two seperate parts because they only sell the pipe in either the shorter sections or 10' long pipes which don't fit in my car easily. You can do it either way.

I can’t recall. I have a lot of random screws and I just kept trying different screws until I found some that fit. It needs to be long enough to get through the flange and into the wood base which is 1”thick. I’m guessing a 3/4” screw would be enough.

I use an iPad Air 4th Generation. The iPad Pro will not fit. All others seem to fit
