I’m running the Advatek in expanded mode since these lights don’t have a clock line. For simplicity sake, each output has its own dedicated universe and only controls one strip of lights. That way, in ChamSys, it’s super easy to grab all the lights from a single universe to group together. I hope that properly answers your question haha :) -Chad

@@AWTechTuesday Seems that Chamsys is fine with up to 18 universes on PC. More than enough for what I need but I'm trying to get my head around is how to deal with more than the universe quota of pixels. I've heard something along the lines of bitmap out to a server translating the effect into pixel data? Like I said, I come from the lines of animated Christmas lighting using a similar controller, I'm easily pumping hundreds of universes from a computer but professional setups have an extra system to take load off the console.
