A lot of us enjoy PokemonGO too, though! I don't think there should be a divide between trainers who play the original series games vs. PokemonGO or another spin-off like Mystery Dungeon. Being a fan of Pokemon shouldn't be determined by whether or not someone has the time and money to play a handheld console game. As far as I'm concerned the only that makes someone a "true Pokemon trainer" is how much they love their Pokemon! A Pikachu can mean just as much to a trainer whether it was caught on Route 3, hatched from an egg after walking 10 KM, or a card or plushie someone has had since childhood. A trainer's relationship to this series can take many forms, and that's the beauty of Pokemon!

It's really not that hard~! It's a very basic applique project and it's great for practicing the technique (which can be REALLY useful for cosplay). Not to mention it doesn't take much time, each design only took a couple hours from start to finish! C:

My Popplio is female, yes! It's actually very rare to get a female starter, I think the rate is 75% chance of getting a male instead. So she's a special snowflake. xD And I'm not sure I'll cosplay the trainer but I do have plenty of other Pokemon costumes planned~!
