Many good comedic interludes, I enjoyed husky time. The techno alien soundtrack probably came from the gyro mount servo controller. Hope Lizz liked it, great work mate!

It is excellent but The outer catch pan looks like the water will drain towards the center and through to the motor and electronics. They usually are curved in the middle more like a donut so they can catch water.

Thanks, the top bit was just something I found at a junkyard that looked cool. I thought it was too low so I machined in some slots on the top of the aluminum bowl to attach plastic guards to make the walls higher on the side your hands are not on (but the wife never puts them on for some reason). I did run the drain tube through the housing as it jusrt happened to be the lowest gravitational point in the bowl but it goes to a water tight tube to the drain a few feet away.

Very nice I like your way of building to last,that motor you used is rated at 3750 rpm is the speed control able to slow it down to 250 rpm. Thank you
@HuskyMachining
@HuskyMachining 2 года назад
Thanks. The motor has internal gearing that bring the max rpm to something like 400 rpm and there is a dc speed controller to vary the speed from 0-400rpm

@@shaikazeem0551 damn, I went the easy way and bought a 10k pot peddle online as it was just so cheap and easy to wire into the wheel.

Hi! How you connect the engine with the wheel? Are you use a chain? Do you install gearwheel to axis? Thanks for inspiration :)

we kinda got distracted lately making solid rocket motors but she did use it once but then we desided it needed a pedal to control the speed so im making that now (well its been sitting on my work bench waiting to be finished)

@@HuskyMachining Do you maybe have a link for that? All the ones i can find are used for golf carts and are spring loaded.. using something like a volume pedal (for an electric guitar) would be perfect..

Hey man period love your stuff. Maybe you can help me out. I'm trying to conceptualize everything I would need to make a bronson spinner. Is it possible to do for under $300 do you think?
@HuskyMachining
@HuskyMachining 3 года назад
that might be possible... I assume you want to make a electric one? if you have a welder and grinder the biggest cost will be the motor ($70 on eBay for a 300 watt gear dc motor), probably another $50 for chain and reducing spockets.... now that I think of it... its totally possible to build for about 300 and ill help ya design it if ya want

yeah, I have always liked building things but when I started 7 years ago all I had was a harbor freight welder and a grinder....
