Newbie here… Beautiful pumpkin’s. You know when you finish with it. You could set it down a a leaf garage bag, and hang it from a nail maybe in the garage.

I love Spanish olive paint!!!! I use it as my background color while landscape painting 🖼🤗 the outdoor topiary turned out beautifully.

I love to DIY to save money. I also like to customize the item to my liking and I just love to create and craft as well. :) This is just lovely. I would love to create something like this for my porch. $50 is a bit of a high price point still for me for something I only use a few months a year, though I do see how this would make it more affordable for more folks. Thanks for sharing!

What an awesome DIY. I love those but they are so pricey. Thanks for the tutorial. I will have to give it a try bi love that you aged the pumpkins a bit. It gave it a much better look.

Julie, this is one of my favorite fall DIY’s! It looks just like the inspiration piece. I love the size it it too. It makes a statement on your porch! You did a fantastic job with the painting. I love how you used the brown to antique the creases. Just gorgeous! 🍂

Thank God for the wisdom and eyes of those children right?! They see and think of things that we cannot. Your project is definitely a wise idea...I like it a lot. I love the green hue that you chose to use. Although I'm partial to the color green anyway (Laughing). Love the color of your door and porch rails...it's beautiful!! I made one several years ago, hot glue will separate rather quickly; I repaired it this year- finally with E6000😊

I wanted to try something as well because tge Plow and Hearth although looks really beautiful was out the budget too. I am gathering my supplies to make thus beautiful DIY you did. I may have to add pebbles inside the pumpkins to keep them from toppling over, because where I am get really windy at times.

Yes the pebbles will help! I wish I had done that. We recently moved and I haven't seen my topiaries since. I had them.stored in large black garbage bags, I am thinking someone thought it was trash. Super bummed but want to make another set.

Green is heavy color So it should go in the middle Not on top its off balance But it’s the wrong size to go on top so you might want to keep in mind about heavy colors yellow is heavy as well

Are you going to put moss on the top of the planter before you put the bottom pumpkin on that would look a lot better I think along with the berries that you're going to put on there

It would have looked nice if you got some of those either leather leaves or some dark and light orange leaves from the Dollar Tree or even the burlap leaves and put on there a couple like on two places the back besides on each side with the berries it would have it just needs something else
