Hi everyone i've very excited to share this DIY Outdoor pumpkin planter with you guys! It is very sturdy so it can be used outdoors on your porch without any worries about wind or bad weather. I hope you enjoy this Dollar Tree DIY Porch Fall decor idea ❤
Materials used:
Pumpkin Pails from Walmart
Basket from the DT
Nautical rope from DT
Maple leaves from DT
Foam board from DT
Supplies used for crafting:
1. Waverly chalk paint
-Moss
-Celery
-Plaster
-Truffle
2. Hot glue gun
3. Behr Chalk paint wax
4. E6000 glue

Hey guys! What are your favorite fall colors? This year I’ve been feeling the green colors mixed with yellow and orange which is why I picked these colors for the pumpkins 😅 what colors would you choose?

I did this and it came out amazing. I filled my pail with some left over cement I had and it worked great!

I luv 💗this! I am working on it right now. I just found these pumpkins at Walmart the other day. They seem awfully late in the season, probably due to covid. This is so quick and easy though, there is still plenty of time to display it! I luv your shading technique too! I’m doing an agave on the bottom, a grey in the middle and plaster on top with truffle as shading- TFS! 😍

Such a fabulous project!! Especially like that it's a functional planter. I've done a lot of wood projects with paint but never used chalk paint. Is primer not necessary for good adhesion? What type of wax did you seal with. I use Johnson's paste wax for some wood projects, is that the same? Thank you for sharing your creativity!

Love this! Thank you for the idea...I would probably paint them first before gluing them together, otherwise I would be too frustrated if I get paint on the other one, lol
