DIY Quick Release Tripod Plate 

This was so useful for my outdoor projector movie night...the old tripod I had was in the same predicament and this project got it working 🙌🏼 way better than setting it on a chair with books 😂 thanks

Well it looks like I will be digging through scrap and making one of these now, since the ''new in the box" tripod I just bought at Goodwill was missing one, don't feel like buying one on Amazon.

I have the same exact tripod with the missing plate I will gladly pay you to make me one of these

In the Uk the bolts generally on sale are metric. But the 1/4 inch 20 UNC thread can be found on the web.

you are lucky you didn't glue it to the tripod head from the glue spilling out ?
