Hay Ara, The speakers came out great if I could make a suggestion I would upgrade the binding posts . You should be able to find something relatively cheap not only would they look a lot better but they would be much more functional able to support spade, Banana as well as bare wire. enjoy the podcast every week have a great one👍
Agree. I did look at changing the posts but they are directly connected to the crossover circuit. I may just do a soldered connection to the existing post and bury inside the cabinet and add nicer looking posts.
@@TheHTGuysHi! Two questions. Do you think that the FOSI DA 2120C Is a better device and has a better sound than the FOSI Audio V3 Amplifier? And, do you think FOSI DA2120C Is better than FOSI ZA 3?
While the overall cabinetry is awesome, I find the cutouts for the drivers look rough and uneven. I think for aesthetic purposes I would have rounded those edges to match the rounding of the rest of the cabinet. You are right the mic is doing the sound justice. There is mud and distortion in the 250-500hz range. I am listening on my home studio via a pair of KRK rokets which are unforgiving and the sound is rather unpleasant.
I removed the tweeters and sanded the edges to a softer transition and I added foam gasket material to the gap and it looks much better! Thank you again for the feedback!
Wonderful looking speakers.. mind you, they would look & sound a lot better if they were on stands! If not when demonstrating at least have them on the edge of the table.
