DIY Replace Old 3 Handle Shower Valve With New Single Handle 

Here's all that was involved in my DIY project to replace a very old shower system with a new one. this is not a step by step installation video, but I'm putting in a Delta shower to replace my old one.
The Delta faucet runs around $170 at Home Depot. All in all, the DIY project cost me between $250-300. I would imagine it would have been 2x or 3x that to hire a plumber.

I show you the necessary tools and try to give you a good idea of how involved the job is for a diy project. I try to regularly deliberate in my videos whether there is value in an item and here specifically whether there is value in installing it yourself.
No one wants any pipes and connections leaking, so we all must take plumbing jobs very seriously. Codes for plumbing should be observed, and you may need a permit for certain work depending on where you live and what type of work you are doing.
