Great job, I bought mine for my bench and they work great. I put a oak step bar between each two at each end, a massive improvement!!

works a treat! If there only was a way to retract all them wheels with a single move... just kidding, I am lazy. :)

Yeah, they work. In fact, I am thinking about modifying them to a two move retract ;) so there might be an update later 👍

Add a steel bar to pair each side at least!

That was what I was thinking of doing, when I get the time to do it :)

Do you have plans available?

this is nice! However: Never ever ever pull on the tables of a jointer, this will mess up the adjustment. Similarly I am wondering whether this is really the best home for a jointer / planer. IMO it would be better to have retractable feet in combination with bigger and softer wheels, which will absorb most of the energy created by the fall.

Wonder how much weight that can support. Thinking about putting that on my welding table.

Hi, I think this can take a lot of weight. Of course it depends on what materials you use to make them :) I dont think a welding table would be any problem

@@WillysGarageNorway my problem is that the tables weigh about 2200lbs a piece. They were made to support big pump ends. I think this design could work. But maybe make the lever longer? We got over sized casters for the weight. I wouldn't need to move them, but now upper management wants them to move when we 5s the shop. Had I known this would be the case, I would have worked it into the design 3 years ago. Very good work. I will try this. Thanks.
