thank you. I'm going to try making these. I think I'm going to use two pieces of old towel fabric instead of batting. I feel better about washing that on super high water in the washing machine.

What kind of batting do you recommend?

I used 2 layers of low loft craft polyfil. I used polyester fabric for back and front so that they would dry quickly. For the mesh I used one layer of tulle. Another option I tried was to make one cloth layer with a piece I cut from a micro fiber dish towel. I made mine slightly larger and sewed an X in the middle to prevent them from loosing shape or bunching up.

@@angelageiseman9104But can the batting be cotton instead of polyester so the sponge absorbs liquids when wiping surfaces?

You should never use a rotary cutter, cutting towards body parts (in this case, your hands)

You are totally right. Sometimes when I shoot videos I focus solely on positioning my hands so you can see everything better on camera and I forget to keep my hands away from the blade.
