Nice job, and great result, but how do you change the battery?

The 9V Battery will last long, but if you desire to change the battery perhaps use velcro to secure the battery instead of using hot glue.

why are you using a florescent tube instead of polycarbonate? Polycarbonate is 100% more durable and really easy to get a hold of.

Severtsen Media 2.0 there was more of a selection of cheaper glass options from $5, the finished product was designed more for display, but great idea!

They released a toy rey lightsaber thats more accurate to the graflex saber (actual prop) so use it instead of the anakin one

I got the switch on eBay, search up 'Micro switch' and have a look at the different kinds
