Hey. thanks for your videos on the shed fit out. I've been watching these with interest as I'm about to fit out my new shed 2.9meter walls and was wondering how the yellow tongue is holding up. Particularly those that you attached directly to the frame, rather than those on the stud wall. Any issues / drama's / dilemmas you faced? How did you attach directly to the walls.Cheers

Hey mate! The yellow tongue has been really good actually. There was no real issues in getting it up. Hardest bit was handling it on my own and getting the joins to meet. Although I’ll give you a tip on which board to buy, don’t get the one without the wax coating on it, the raw look sheets don’t line up anywhere near as close as the other stuff. I spoke about it in one of my earlier videos. I used pan head metal screws, about 3-4 on each row. I put some heavier duty bugle screws where want to mount anything on the wall. Example the wheel rack. Hope that helps.

@@_HACtv_ thanks for the reply. Did you use any glue behind the sheets? I was thinking of some liquid nails for a bit of extra strength. Also only one side of the perlins was screwed?

I didn’t, but I suppose you could. But also, if you did want to take a sheet off for whatever reason later, it would be difficult. I actually had to take a sheet off to run a cable later and was glad I didn’t glue. I started doing both sides but ended up just doing one and it was plenty. You could alternate top and bottom if you wanted to save screws too. That’ll evenly distribute the load.

Hey mate. Company was Eureka Garages and Sheds. They were good to deal with. They actually organised my building permit too, which was handy.
