This skiff boat started as a center console until its previous owner decided to make it a commercial fishing boat. He did most of the hard work and after a couple years of sitting decided to sell on FB Marketplace for $500. Now this DIY skiff boat project will serve as a multifunctional boat….

I’m in the middle of rebuilding my 1985 Wellcraft 180 Fisherman. Videos from you and others are keeping me on track. Unlike my Cobia Sunskiff rebuild that took 7 years 🤣 Keep up the awesome work, and maybe we’ll see you on a Bimini crossing someday 🙌

Hey man! Very funky and cool. You had to put the helm that far forward to offset that 200, ha!!! She is going to scoot. Look forward to seeing what the aft deck will become. That big bulkhead seems like it would be in the way behind you. Excited for part 2!

🌴 well Forrest , this is a different style build , but interesting and that yammie 200 will make things exciting, the forward console in the bow and your body weight will help on whole shots getting up on plane , but that forward console can make for a bumpy ride in rough water , FGCI hooked me up on some 1708 three yd end roll and putty finally got the transom in on project nano skiff , was going to start cutting out the front seat to make my forward casting deck but like you I got rained out , should be nice weather the next couple days then rainy again 😞 can’t wait to see what you do your project , keep the vids coming bro 👍🏼👊🏼

Hi do you have any tips on how to strengthen a transom on a small glasfiber boat? I have already put plywood on both sides but i need to strengthen it length wise.
