This story always gives me the warm fuzzies and leaves me in awe a bit. My ancestors were one of the 5 big families who settled this area which serves as "Sleepy Hollow" in the story. They were Dutch nobility and arrived in the late 1600s. It's bizarre to think one of the characters may have been based on a relative. Thank you for sharing the construction of your sign. I was needing this specifically. Here's to the small but definite happinesses.
Your like a friend I wish I had, to help me get through the times we are living in. I'm a big fan of sleepy hollow and I'm so going to do this for Halloween.
I didnt know you were Canadian! That's so cool. Watching your past videos I thought you were in the UK....I guess you borrowed an accent lol. I love your videos.
always love your videos and was so excited for another Headless Horseman themed one! I am actually rewatching the tv series now! I am in Canada and have been looking for those little pumpkins! Which store did you find them at? The sub for the husks was brilliant! Many blessings from Canada! - oh, PS --- I had a giggle when you said it's time to decorate. I celebrate the seasons, so I pull out my decorations on Labour Day weekend :) I recently moved home to take care of an aging mom and my bedroom is in perma winter, and my apothecary is in perma fall :) My two favorite seasons!
The little pumpkins I found at Michaels. Hopefully they restocked with the same design this year- they really are cute! How lovely that you have rooms for the best seasons! Decorating for the correct seasons (at the correct time) is the one thing I really miss.
