DIY Snuffle Mats 

I love that this shelter has a program like this! amazing :)

I started these with my craft club kids yesterday. We will donate them to the animal shelter here in Lawrence, KS, when they are finished. A quick note: I used a utility knife to separate the sections of the large mat, and I removed the little scalloped edges. I thought that either the kids or the dogs would tear them apart. Great project!

Can you tell me how you wash these? Dishwasher then air dry? Hose off and let dry? I’m not picky but wouldn’t want the plastic mat in my washer or dryer.

I got this same mat off Amazon. The smell is awful! Is this harmful to my dog? and Is the one you have smell?

How do you wash these?

That kind of snack you are using and the number you are putting in the mat is way too much for any dog. Better off using the kibble you feed the dog and then back off on the meal amount to off set.

Don’t use these type of mats, your dog will become like a hoover picking up everything from the floor

Also great for pet rabbits too, ours love theirs. It's funny, alot of toys Dogs like our bunnies do just with different treats.
