These batteries are all over the internet, and in this video we show how they can be combined to easily make a 72V 38.4AH (40AH rounded) battery. This is a perfect battery for applications like a Stealth Bomber Clone or high powered ebike / quad / dirt bike etc. Leave it to your imagination!
Note we spot weld the tabs but they can easily be soldered, not spot welder necessary!
We've got them here;

Charger:

This particular battery is able to push out 9000W peak !!!
The BMS can safely output 72V 60A (4200W+) continuously

I found this video in my search to build my own Ebike from start to finish. I saw that Myles and his team not only built these batteries for sale, but were also located in Canada. I have spoken with Myles via Email and Phone. Myles is an extremely helpful resource to all things E-vehichle. I have now sourced the majority of my Stealth Bomber parts through Myles. Give this man some time and he will provide you a masterpeice.

This is an awesome and somewhat informative video for anyone wanting to start up a company as a battery supplier, manufacturer, wholesaler, But for anyone not interested in starting up a battery manufacturing company and is just interested in making a battery for their own personal use, ebike (etc).... The cost of supplies and tools could never possibly negate the cost of just doing the proper research needed to buy from a reputable supplier in china.

Sure it can. I made a 72v 12.8ah pack by tearing down two of these packs to the cells and building it in a dp-9 case. From aliexpress I got side cutters, 5m battery cable, JQ-DHJ02B spot welding PCB, 10 pack of xt60 connectors, 100pcs pure nickel strip, and a 33M roll of kapton tape. All for about $85 shipped, hooked the spot welder up the battery from my truck. The spot welder works great for $30 but you need to keep your battery charged up or quality of the welds starts to drop. For my pack I had to do something like 300 welds. I kept a battery maintainer and a jump starter hooked up to it. Or you could run a couple car batteries in parallel. Now labour and safety... This was a completely new skill for me so it took me days of research and labour to pull it off and I was worried the entire time about burning my house down if I made a mistake. If I did it again I'd probably set up to work outside in a spot that I could just let it burn if something went wrong. If you don't know what you're doing and you value your time and safety this is not worth it, but it's cool to ride around on a pack I made. I've got my controller limited to 2kw but my pack can do 3kw easily and I've given it a few bursts of 4kw with no problems. The packs, case, and bms were $380 shipped so in total I spent $465. Over a third of my cost was in the case and BMS so if you're building a larger, caseless battery like a stealth bomber and get a better deal on a BMS you'd be saving even more.

Hello, can I add more packages, meaning it becomes 8 packages instead of 6 packages, and it becomes 51 amps, and I enlarge the BMS to 80 amps? Please reply quickly, my friend. Thank you.

I understand you attached a 60a bms to the battery but if I were to build this same setup for a razor using a sotion fw01 motor and powerful controller would I be able to use a 250amp bms or would that be too much for the battery. Secondly what is the max charge for this battery before damage and what is the minimum voltage before needing a charge. Thank you!
@ElectricBikeLaboratory
@ElectricBikeLaboratory 4 месяца назад
This particular battery has 12 parallel groups rated at 10A each so 120 is really the max current you would want to draw. Max charge voltage is 84 volts and minimum is 60 volts

Hi there , they are all connected via nickel spot welding in this case. The packs are our ECO packs (36V) that are 3 stacked on top of each other and then each group is connected (group directly above /below connected). Hopefully this helps!

@@wtfvids3472if you ricreate the same diagram of the older one I don’t see why it would not work. I’m curious if we can create a bigger battery, whit the same voltage of the original but whit more amperes, and reuse the same bms.

Didnt you have anything to do with the ecopack's before starting this process ? No need to check each cells voltage you can just rip it open bulk and strap the modules together ? That's really nice.
@ElectricBikeLaboratory
@ElectricBikeLaboratory 6 месяцев назад
Yeah they are super convenient! The vast majority of the packs hover right around 37V when we open them up and we do a quick check on them to make sure no dead cells of course but it is definitely quite a simple process :)

If you want to connect 2 separate batteries in parallel, you can just connect them both with a Y Splitter. Make sure the batteries are same voltage. If you're building a large pack from smaller packs, and stacking them in parallel, then yes you need to connect all of the groups on them. Hope this helps!
