Great way to create the gathered look on top of shorts. I like that you use the serger to attach elastic.

Great video, glad to find another guy who loves sewing as much as i do. Great job on matching the stripes, and explaining everything. The only thing that saddens me is that you're using your rotary cutter blade on paper. =/

I have never used an overlocker to attach the elastic before but it looks really effective. I like the addition of your own labels. Were they specifically made for you or did you buy them from a shop?

Ha, yup they are short. Great tutorial though. I mean, I probably didn't really *need* to watch a video on mens elasticated shorts but couldn't seem to help myself (I did watch it on double speed though). Great pattern matching and good method for attaching the elastic and creating the channel, I hate when all that stuff twists.
