you have inspired me. i use to sew all my kids clothes but the past 20 or 30 years i worked and did not have time to sew. Now my kids have moved away taking the grand kids and i don't know what to sew but want to. You have given me so many ideas. Plus i had a stroke 28 months ago and you have shown me i can still do things such as sewing even with a little numbness in my hand. Thank You So Much!!!!

I really love roosters too! These towels are so cute, I love them. I'm going to have so see what our Walmart has. They have a few things and precuts fabric, but I love the rick rack and pom poms. Love this video!

Love your towel ideas! I use pretty dish towels for my kitchen curtains and so cheap to change them with the seasons. I just use those little round curtain ring clips to hold the towel and then use a cafe rod to slide in the curtain rings. I love your ideas and inspiration.

I was binge watching your videos and I was wondering how do I do a zigzag stitch? I'm absolutely addicted to your videos! Love them. I'm learning how to sew on my matchine and you have gave me wonderful project ideas

Hi Brittany. All sewing machines now have a zig zag stitch that you can select on your machine. Refer to your user's manual. You can change the length and width of the stitch. Always test the stitches out on scrap fabric. Happy sewing.

I enjoy what you are doing! I did applique a few. I appliqued a chicken on one! I have trouble with steam a seam and other fusibles. I have watched every video and read the steam a seam list of directions; I recently fused the steam a seam to the one side of thd applique (i had to sew it down). What a hoot!

Hi. Those are just so cute. I have crocheted those towels in past years. Looks easier and the variety is awesome. Just use two sided velcro and glue???? The jumbo Rick rack is adorable on anything !!! Thank you Cheryl.

Where did you get that pretty cherry fabric? My sister LOVES both cherry motifs and rickrack. I'd love to find that fabric and make her a towel like that one you did. And my best friend is really into chickens and roosters.

Hi. I would like to request a dying towels with material around your neck when baking. Use to dry hands after many hand washing. Towels hang /start just under the breast area. Seen them 1/2 hand towels. Thanks

I have a question. When sewing on towels is there a certain needle you should Use like when you sew on stretch fabrics? Asking because towels are thicker.

Depends what type of fabric... cotton or polyester. Polyester stretches so yes, use a stretch/ ball point needle. Cotton, just use a universal according to the weight of the fabrics. Remember, polyester is does not absorb water, makes the worst towels.

Our local Walmart removed the fabric department in 2008. It took ten years, but they realized they made a mistake, and put it back in, in 2018. Idiots.

Hi G. S. I once lived in So. California and they removed the sewing and craft departments most of the stores in that part of the state. I live in a very small town, and Walmart is the only place to shop. We are so lucky they care fabric other sewing supplies. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
