If you need more rigidity to the outside of the fenders, you could get some 3/8" black pipe and weld it to edge of the sheet metal. If the tires come up and hit it, they won't be damaged because the pipe is round.
Might I suggest a piece of flat stock as a rub rail over you stake pockets, it will add strength to them & give you more locations to tie down to & use your ramps if needed
Make sure your stake pockets are wide enough for your flat ratchet straps to drop through. I bought some straps that the metal on the straps wouldn’t fit through (ug)
Top piece is 62 inches long. The 45 degree piece is 7 inches and the vertical piece is 8 inches. Its all 1/8 inch flat bar thats 8 inches wide. Overall length is 72 inches.
@@kmac9759 sorry Kevin you said the top piece was 62 inches long the 45° pieces were 7 inches long times two is 14 inches plus the vertical piece is 8 inches times two is 16 so all together that gives me 62+14+16 = 92 is there something I’m missing
It was faster to just cut it with the plasma cutter. I went to the shop I used to work for to use their brake but they were too busy and I didn’t want to wait.
