How to make a cheap outdoor TV stand in less than 40 minutes.
This TV stand is perfect for camping because it is easily portable.
Very affordable to build with scrap lumber and screws.
Great for watching the Olympics, MLB baseball, or NFL football!

Fast forward to 2021, this build will cost you as much as a TV with current lumber prices. 😂😂😂. Love the build and the simplicity.

Freecycle the wood from pallets. A bit more work perhaps but it won't cost you a dime.

Great Idea !!, now can you make it so that you can fold the feet up and down, and use a long PIN to secure it straight that would even better for storage !! I mean so it it basically folds in half ? thanks for the vid.

I’ve got a tv in my garage which has the unintended effect of me getting a lot more done out these cuz I can watch/listen at the same time.

Nice. Seems a Vesa Mount would be better for future proofing the stand.....

I’d to make something similar, but lower to the ground, and tilt-adjustable, for use as a lyrics monitor for campfire songs. Any ideas how tweak? Thanks!

Why not a set of wheels in back to make it even easier to pull in and out?

Great idea and a great video too! I would love to try this. Do you think I could do the same for a much larger and heavier TV?

+Maurice Jordan I don't see why not. 2x4 and 2x6 lumber can definitely take more load. You may want to use to cleats like someone else mentioned. The biggest concern is tipping. Just make sure you don't put too much weight too high off the ground with too short of feet.

Safety Glasses Required yes, tipping is my main concern. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to building things, like I know how to follow directions really well lol but, that's about it. So thanks for the link with the play-by-play. I want to do about 180lbs 3ft off the ground. About how long do you think the feet should be?

Tip: Don't use a fisheye lens for these types of videos. it causes the wood to look warped.

Thanks for the tip. Some of this was filmed with a GoPro as I as not comfortable putting my DSLR that close to the spinning blade and saw dust.

Great you have to have all the tools and be a master builder wtf? Why can't someone just build a heavy duty stand with the center cut out that you can just set your TV in for fuck sakes??!!!
