I like your solution for the hole you cut for the pipe; once you caulk it, it will be seamless since the flashing covers most of the cutout. Nice video!

You make it look so easy. 😀 I was watching another video where comments said the boards will warp if you don’t also use glue and only nail the boards to studs in the wall. Have you had any problems with just using nails?

Where did you order these panels? I checked home depot stores, they don't carry this type, they only have the very basic beadboard panels. I love the panels you were using for this video, but don't know where I can buy in a local store.

Is that the 16 gauge finish nailer or 18 gauge Brad nailer? I have the 18 gauge and am trying to decide if I should add the 16 in for finish work.

The purpose of shoe moulding is to cover the gap left by the rigid baseboard. By having the moulding as part of the baseboard, this is now impossible and the only option for filling those gaps is to fill it with caulking or wood filler, which give a much less desirable result.

Just my opinion..... I think everything looked great. And then you lost me with the makeshift shelf. I'm going to save this in my favorites because I may use your instructions, minus the shelf, in my house. Thanks

You were doing great right up until you made a shelf out of the baseboard.trim. That really ruined the look.
