This week I have a DIY candle making video. But not just any type of candle, wine bottle candles! We love wine and we love candles, so what’s there not to love about the aesthetic of wine bottle candles!

This is the best tutorial I have seen, great job! I tried to do this a few months ago and it turned out awful! I wish I had watched this video first, it would have gone so much better!

baking soda and warm water!! so simple. thats great to know. I love making making wine bottoms into candles, but I've always just left the labels on. Great video! Thank you for sharing!

Really? Wow, I didn’t know that! Okay I’m going to try that! I still make these candles pretty often and I’m still losing quite a few bottles every time. This could be a game changer!

What wicks are you using

I just used classic string and wax wicks from amazon. They came in a set with the melting wax but they have TONS online! We also started using the wood crackling wicks and those are super fun! But really read reviews! We bought some and they burned far faster than the wax and it was an issue. But typically customer reviews will tell you everything you need to know about the quality!

I know, right! 😂But The good news is that I’ve made them several times since and it’s a lot faster once you know what you’re doing! But the first time, definitely was a slow process!
