Hello Crafters,
Todays tutorial is all about making your own wood burning paste, how to prep your wood and use the burn paste.
Recipe:
100ml water
1.5 teaspoon of cornstarch or food thickener
1.5 teaspoon of Ammonium Chloride.
Glue Solution recipe:
2:1 white craft glue to water.
you will also need:
Heat gun
white craft glue
corn starch
Ammonium Chloride
water
vinyl stencil
paint brushes
containers for paste.

Hi, is this food safe? Can it be used?

@Dixielanddelight74 yes, it is food safe. The only thing that would change that is if you put a varnish or polish on the wood after burning it.

Can this be used on things made of polymer plaster?

Hi, I havnt tested it on polymer plaster myself so I am unsure if it would work.

Will it still work if i dont use chlorine? If not what are some alternatives

Hi there, no it won't work without the ammonium chloride. I am unsure of any alternatives for it but if it's hard for you to locate, you can use premade burn pastes and pens.
