Hey, so I want to thank you and Jiyuna for alleviating the fear of getting into fighters like this. I just bought Rev 2 on the PS4(will get Strive later when it comes out). I’ve been wanting to get into FGs since the first Blazblue but felt like it was intimidating so I was like a bystander watching artists perform. I was more into action adventure games but since the quality of those dropped*cough*Cyberpunk 2077*cough*, I decided that I needed a more engaging time and I have seen you and Jiyuna talk to us outsiders directly and speaking on behalf of the community to convince people that these games are not only accessible but also worth it. So thanks to you both and I look forward to embarking on this journey. And if you must know, I want to learn Baiken(I like defensive characters, sue me) but if she gets too hard, I will fall back to the old reliable Ky. Thanks again and continue the great work.

@@chronosanaki5174 well she is certainly a difficult character since Azami counter offense doesn’t work when you are in defense. You have to predict the offense and be in neutral. It’s a risk. I am a total noob and maining Baiken is hard because Baiken has weird inputs like her overhead which I’ve only got twice and her second super which is reason I have yet to get in her basic combos. My goal is to beat Arcade Episode Mode on Hard before I branch out and start challenging folks online. Honestly, I get why people simp her because her design and personality. She is the only female in Guilty Gear that isn’t designed to be cute save for Millia. She doesn’t smile and her face has these jagged proportions. Her voice is deep for a woman and she has this rage embedded into every call out. And she has features that aren’t societally attractive(she is missing and arm) and it makes her empowering. Yeah, she has the largest breasts in the game and she clearly doesn’t wear a bra but in the world of anime and media, very few women aren’t well-endowed to the point it doesn’t make any difference. And honestly, I would have mained Dizzy or Ramalethal if I was in it for being a horny coomer.
