Big up Dj Demo - a true pioneer! In a time when Force & styles were murdering the scene with their cheese-ridden offerings, this man was knocking out intelligent hardcore like this.
Nah mate. Force and Evolution were actually knocking out some pretty good tunes in 1994. A sense of summer - Easin on - top tune. I just replied to a nine year old comment 👍
best hardcore tune from 94 and best hardcore producer in the late 90's. i had that helter skelter tape too. he was the warm up and it was the best tape in the pack! demo tried to keep the breakbeat alive but gave in. what happened to him i wonder?
The sort of tune id expect ellis dee to play.who for me was a strange dj.as someone in 94 that wanted to play happy tunes but wanted to keep the breakbeats of darkside and jungle.and not really play shitty 4to the floor happy hardcore.only my opinion.some will agree.some wont.
@darkcore1977 what a tune and well worth the cash. got turned down on a few 50quid offers on discogs then luckily picked it up for 45 near mint a few months back on discogs. looks unplayed so very happy. first heard on pirate radio after coming down off a serious bad trip and loved ever since. its actually my funeral request along with dj crystl sweet dreamz. serious jungle
try Corrosive Recordings - that was his label (I think?)...this is so smoothe on the piano and features good use of the vocals by F/G/T/H....sorta vibe I love listening to with all the lights out watching the stars stream the sky and the late night traffic filter into unknown caverns of darkness..."Dreaming" by Demo is my fav of his...great upload :)
@lazydrag - Force & evolution DID knock out some quality tunes from '93 - '95, it went tits up (as far as I'm concerned) when Heart of gold came out. As much as it pains me to say it, they were ahead of their time as by the early noughties their sound was everywhere. Just a shame it poops all over everything the early ravers (87 - 95) stood for! Charting in the top 40 isn't only embraced by the ravers of today, it's positively encouraged & it could even be argued that most tunes now are made
Shit man! I never commented on this legendary masterpiece! Thought i had but obviously my mind fell into the flow of this absolute blazer of a choon? Demo's best followed by Sy & Demo Devotion?
Fuckbollock you seem to be the only knob who refers to drugs out of all the comments here. I would suggest that means you don't particularly like this track especially, juzt the drugs you were on when you remember you heard it.
